Registration Rules and Restrictions

TOURNAMENT MECHANICS:

  • The participants must choose from the 6 available classes.
  • Qualified participants will compete in the 3×3 CARNAGE tournament. Participants will use pre-made characters provided by the CABAL PH Team, each with its own standard equipment and potions.
  • Tournament venue is the Graveyard site in Desert Scream.

  • Tournament Style is 3v3 Guild War.
  • Tournament system is Single eliminations. Losing teams may no longer compete in the tournament, while winning teams will advance to the rounds leading to the championships match.
  • Match settings:
    • Eliminations to semi-finals: Best of 3 race to 2 wins
    • Finals: Best of 5 race to 3 wins
  • The first team to kill all members (3) of their opponent wins the said round. That is, the said team will be given 1 point for the said match.
  • Only the first 16 teams who have registered will be qualified.
  • Frontier stone is prohibited during matches.

  • Special event-only title
  • Choose 1 below:
    • Battle Commander – 90 days (Stats: HP +200, Attack +10, SSA +2%, Defense + 15)
    • Undead Terminator – 90 days (Stats: HP +200, Magic Attack +10, MSA +2%, Defense + 15)

 

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

  • There will be 16 slots for each category (game) – 8 from online pre-registration and 8 from on-site registrations.
  • All team members must have a unique game account registered under their names.
  • ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION
    • There will be 8 slots for the online pre-registration. Teams will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
    • Teams who wish to secure one of the 8 pre-registered slots for the category/game of their choice must submit their details via the Grand Prix Registration Page (click to view).
    • Once the team’s line-up is submitted, it can no longer be changed.
    • A person may only use one character name and may only join one team
    • Online pre-registration is from June 18 at 12:00 PM to June 20 at 12:00 PM only.
    • The official list of all pre-registered teams per game will be published on the Level Up! Live website (http://levelupgames.ph/leveluplive) on June 20 at 6:00 PM.
  • ON-SITE REGISTRATION
    • There will be 8 on-site registration slots for the tournament. Registration will be on a first come, first served basis.
    • Teams may register by submitting a completely and clearly filled up LU! Live Grand Prix On-Site Registration Form which may be downloaded from this link <embed download link>
    • Accomplished registration forms must be submitted to the GMs assigned the games’ respective tournament areas on July 6 at the World Trade Center Metro Manila (Pasay City. The team leaders and members must all be present when the form is submitted. Here are the GMs you need to look for per game:
      • Cabal Online – GM Raven
      • Grand Chase – GM Fenris
      • Perfect World – GM Igneel
      • Philippine Ragnarok Online – GM Garrick
      • RAN Online – GM Lee
      • Rohan Online – GM Krieger
    • The 8 teams who will qualify for the on-site registration slots will be announced at the venue.

 

GENERAL RULES

  • Accepted Proof of Identification
    • The following may be presented as proof of identification – Passport, Driver’s License ID, SSS Card, GISI eCard, PRC ID, TIN ID, Postal ID, NSO Authenticated Birth Certificate, NBI Clearance, Digitized Voter’s ID, Phil Health Card, Senior Citizen’s Card, Company ID, School ID, Government-issued Office ID
    • Please note that proof of identification must be authentic, valid, original and unexpired. Scanned or photocopied IDs/documents will not be accepted. Falsifying documents is punishable by law.
    • ALL PARTICIPANTS, whether they registered online or on-site, will be required to present a proof of identification. There will be no exemptions to this rule. Those who are unable to present this requirement will automatically be eliminated.
  • Player Responsibilities and Guidelines
    • Teams must designate a team leader who will handle all decisions for the team. The GM will consider decisions made by the team leader as final for the entire team.
    • Setup period before the actual match is 5 minutes only, including mouse and keyboard replacement.
    • Players who are unable to finish setting up within this period must begin playing with whatever configuration and character setup they are left with. No time extension and special considerations for the setup will be given.
    • Substitutions are not allowed except at the Level Up! Live championships, and only if the team provides a valid reason and other requirements to support their claim. The provided reason and documents are still subject to the tournament committee’s approval. For example, in case of health reasons, the player must provide a medical certificate and other documents that will support their claim.
    • All expenses including transportation, accommodation and meals will be c/o of the substitute team member.
  • Disqualification Rules
    • If two (2) or more members fail to appear for their scheduled match, the present complete team will be declared as the automatic winner.
    • If a team does not show up within 15 minutes grace period with their scheduled match, the match will be forfeited and the complete team will win.
    • Intentional disconnection (pressing alt+F4 or manual disconnection) will lead to the forfeiture of the match.
    • Players are expected to behave in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner at all times. Teams/members of the team exhibiting unruly conduct will be disqualified, handing the opposing team the match.
    • Use of items like Odd Circle and Frontier Stone is prohibited during matches.
  • Technical Foul is defined as engaging in any behavior that is unsportsmanlike and includes excessive profanity or violence against property or individuals including the marshals.
  • Players are not allowed to abandon their terminals without the marshal’s approval. Teams with at least one (1) member who abandoned their terminal without the marshal’s approval will be disqualified and are not eligible to claim any prizes from the tournament.
  • Employees, suppliers and service providers of Playweb Games Inc. and their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity and affinity are disqualified from joining any stage; including the finals, of any Level Up! Live 2013 tournament and any of its sub-tournaments. This also includes the use of characters they own and accounts they maintain.
  • Playweb Games Inc. has the right to hold and not give all prizes of disqualified teams.
  • Technical issues encountered during the event will be assessed by the marshals. Only major technical problems will merit game suspension and/or restart at the discretion of the marshals.
  • Players who argue with or fail to follow the instructions of the tournament director, head judge or other tournament officials are subject to the appropriate penalties as dictated by the severity of the case.
  • Participants must follow the rules interpretations and guidelines set forth by the tournament committee, the tournament director, the head judge, and other tournament officials.
  • The decision of the referees, GMs, and tournament officials is final.
