As a loud and proud, true-blue child of Procyon from the ringed planet of Saturn and member of the BulimicCannibals and FilthyRottenApples guilds, Cresselia, a level 165 Wiz, was chosen as our player of the week because of her prowess in the battlefields of Nevareth. For those of you who didn’t know, she was one of the first who snatched the title of “GM Slayer in her server. Let’s get to know more about Cresselia in this interview
How long have you been playing CABAL Online:
I have been playing CABAL Online since November of 2008.
Why do you like to play CABAL Online:
CABAL Online lets me me escape from reality and it takes me to a higher level of gaming experience, not to mention the graphics, the BEST.
Favorite Place to Level:
Porta Inferno, feel the fury of hell!
Favorite NPC:
My Favorite NPC is Lady Yekaterina? You can’t survive Cabal without her, can you? Also, she is Russian! Me likey Russian Girl LOL.
Most loved CABAL character:
My most loved character is my character of course! Cresselia (formerly known as Mariade) is my faithful partner in crime, in joy or in sorrow, in good times or in bad.
Most challenging quest:
The Mergareph’s Ring is the most challenging for me. Even though I have one already, it took me more than a year to get it.
Most hated mob/dungeon boss:
My most hated mob/dungeon boss is obviously Mergareph; ang damot eh.
Most hated PvP opponent:
NONE. I never learned to hate anyone. When I lose, I lose. Learn to accept defeat because what falls down must rise up.
Favorite party members:
For me, Archers are the best party members. They have cool buffs which helps you A LOT in PT dungeons. Also, they have unli heal.
Any Crushes:
Si BxStripper HAHA, one of my closest friends in Cabal, and also maganda talaga siya IRL .
Tips for newbie players:
Don’t rush things out. Good things come to those who are patient enough. Be hardworking and love what you are doing, Di ka naman magiging “mamaw” instantly if ‘di ka hardworking and if you don’t love what you’re doing.
Never hate someone or find a fight because those who find fights are insecure people. You have something special that they don’t have, and that is you are UNIQUE from them. Also remember, CABAL is only a past time that unwinds us from the busy streets, work, and things that makes us stress out. There is a world out there that we must not forget, and that is the world of reality.
What is your greatest achievement in CABAL Online?
One of my greatest achievement is that I am the first one to bag the title “GM Slayer” in Saturn, but the greatest achievement for me is the achievement of getting to know great friends in CABAL who are caring and supportive to one another.

She may be the 16th Reject, but don’t let her name fool you because she can kick butt. The level 160 Wiz from Saturn’s Capella and a member of the SuperVicious guild loves CABAL for its simple yet challenging gameplay, but the best perk is being able to be with her dad in-game.
How long have you been playing CABAL Online:
I have been playing for more than 3 years, I think? But I stopped playing for 6 months because of school-related stuff.
Why do you like to play CABAL Online:
Ano pa ba, syempre because it’s simple but challenging and fun! And because I can meet my father(jomanic, MalouWang) in-game. We live apart kasi so ayun. You could say that our bonding moments are mostly inside dungeons and nation wars! I really enjoy dungeon runs and nation wars. Iba kasi siya e; basta ang sarap ng feeling pag nananalo ang nation mo sa war.
Favorite Place to Level:
Pontus Ferrum. Wala pa kasi akong Mith +8 set for PI. Haha!
Favorite NPC:
Morison. Close na kami, kasi sa Port Lux ako laging tambay.
Most loved CABAL character:
My guildmates and friends, especially ‘yung character ng tatay ko.
Most challenging quest:
I think every quest is challenging naman in their own right.
Most hated mob/dungeon boss:
I hate you Mergaheph kasi ang damot mo sa ring! Hate ko rin yung Beholder sa PI kasi ang weird lang. Matang lumulutang…
Most hated PvP opponent:
MFS and BL. Lalo na pag pumapalo crit nila. Ang sakit!
Favorite party members:
Kahit minsan ko pa lang sila nakakasama sa dungeons.. Syempre si MalouWang(MFS). Brengg0(WA). Keough(WA) maydei28(WA) xXBlooDReiNXx(FA). Fave ko rin sila Aerhexz/Maximilliene at si habe. Silang dalawa kasi mga una kong nakilala sa Cabal.. Tapos tuwing magkikita kami in-game, we have outrageous fun like racing from BI town to UG entrance using roll over, forced PK by the PL beach.
Any Crushes:
Wala.
Tips for newbie players:
Never use bot programs. It beats the purpose of playing the game, which is to have fun. Seriously, it also spoils other people’s experience. At wag magsawa sa quests. Dito ka yayaman.. and magtiyaga lang.. Lalakas din tayo!
What is your greatest achievement in CABAL Online? :
Pagbangon matapos ma-hack dati. Secret ko lang dati na na-hack ako pero ayan sinabi ko na. Paunti-unting nakabawi kahit limas lahat ng gamit, pati potions!

Allysa is a level 180 Wizard from Saturn’s Capellan nation and a member of TeamPunishment. Having played CABAL Online for almost 3 years, she remembers how she was captivated by the game’s graphics after watching its commercial on TV.
How long have you been playing CABAL Online:
I started playing Cabal Online back in June 18,2008. Una kong napanood yung trailer ng Cabal sa TV and I liked the graphics of the game kaya na-hook ako na para bang gusto kong laruin ang game na ito.
Why do you like to play CABAL Online:
Syempre dahil sa gameplay na wala ang other games. The graphics are nice and expansion of the game keeps on coming. Syempre, if you love the game, hahayaan mo bang maiwanan ka? Di ba hindi? At isa pa, I like playing this game because of the people and friends I meet each day. Each day may makakausap ka from different parts of the Philippines. You get the chance to know more about their culture and madami kang natutunan sa kanila. Each expansion of the game is another challenge for you to try out. I like challenges, which is why I like to play Cabal. Minsan nga aabutin ako ng 4am dahil lang sa dungeon runs at napapagalitan na ako ng mom ko kasi inuumaga na daw ako.
Favorite Place to Level:
Siguro sa Radiant Hall, ayos naman yung EXP gain doon at kapag sinuswerte ka ay makakapulot kayo ng maganda. Ayos din naman magpalevel sa Porta Inferno, kaso nga lang nahihirapan ako lalo na kapag walang kaparty. Lambot ng Wizard ko eh; Paper Build, ika nga.
Favorite NPC:
Si O’ Conner, siya na siguro yung pinaka mabait na NPC kasi each day namimigay siya ng free entry. Eh sa ngayon ang mahal-mahal na ng entries lalo na ang IC at RH.
Most loved CABAL character:
Syempre Wizard. Why? Because I believe in magic. Bata pa lang kasi ako ay mahilig na akong manood ng mga palabas sa TV na may magic. Gusto ko rin ang wizard kasi ang bilis nilang magmove, Dash & Blink rocks! Also casting 2 skills at a time is nice. Down at stun skills din mostly ang skills nila kaya kahit malambot ang wizard ko, stun lock combo lang ay buhay na ako. Saka kung wizard ka, madami kang makikilala. “pa SP po”, “pa Buffs po”, “ate sama ka hunt tayo”, iyan mostly yung mga words na maririnig mo from other players kapag wiz ka. Para sa akin, natutuwa ako kapag may mga taong nakakrecognize sa akin kahit sa maliit na paraan.
Most challenging quest:
The Mergaheph’s ring quest, kasi till now wala pa rin akong ring nya. Nagtatampo na nga ako sa kanya eh. Kasi yung iba 1 try lang meron na tapos ako wala pa. Hated nya din siguro ako.
Most hated mob/dungeon boss:
Si Keshapone Minisha ng Porta Inferno, ang cool at ang porma niyang tingnan. Nung unang pagkakataon ko na makita siya ay lumapit ako para magpapicture kaso 2 hits niya lang ako. Akala ko kasi ay kagaya siya ni Manticore at Dark Kimzrk na mga boss sa Porta Inferno na non-aggressive.
Most hated PvP opponent:
Siguro yung mga character na madalas mag crit lalo na ang mga FB at FS. Saglit lang kasi iyong wizard ko, 3-4 hits lang kapag all crits.
Favorite party members:
Kung members ang paguusapan syempre mga kaguild ko at mga friends ko. Kapag kasi naghuhunt kami, kahit talo sa loots ay panalo naman sa asaran. Nakakawala ng boredom sa dungeon runs kapag nagkukulitan kayo. Sarap kasing kasama ng mga taong gusto mong makasama. Hindi man kayo ganoon kagaling or ganoon ka kalakas, still natutuwa kayo sa kung ano man ang nararating ng samahan nyo.
Any Crushes:
Yung character ko, kasi I named her after my Girlfriend. Sexy kasi kaya ang sarap bihisan. Kaya kapag mag bagong costume, I try my best to avail it as soon as possible para maisuot ng character ko.
Tips for newbie players:
If you love what you’re doing then be proud and happy for it. Konti tiyaga lang sa simula kasi pangit sa buhay ng tao ang nabubuhay sa spoon feeding. Tsaka learn to respect yourself, meron kasi akong nakikitang newbie players na ginagawang katawa-tawa ang sarili nila. If you can’t respect yourself, do you think others will do that also? Di ba. Also, give respect to the people around you. Kapag marunong kang rumespeto, madami kang magiging kaibigan.
What is your greatest achievement in CABAL Online?
For me kasi ang meaning ng achivement is, something na pinaghirapan ko na huli ay magiging masaya ako. And so far ang masasabi ko lang na achievement ko ay nakilala ko ang mga tinuturing kong mga kaibigan. Kahit na magkakaiba ang edad namin, kahit na hindi kami nagkikita sa personal at kahit na sa Cabal lang kami nagkakilala at nagkikita ay nagiging masaya kami. Yung tipong asaran buong gabi. Ang sarap kasi sa pakiramdam na may mga taong hindi mo lubos na kakilala ay tatanggap sa kung ano ka at sa kung ano ang ginagawa mo.

Danby, a level 180 FB from Mars’ Procyon faction and a member of the guild “Civilian, has been playing CABAL Online for more almost 2 years. Leth Tyrant. Grabe ang damage, parang ayaw magpapatay. lakas pa sa alz kasi madaming odd kailangan bitbitin.

WI WA. SP + FURY + MORALE = dungeon ownage.

Tips for newbie players:
Try to play the game in such a way na maiintindihan nyo ‘yung storyline nya and mage-enjoy ka at the very same time. Yes, enjoyable s’ya sobra kasi sa graphics, pero there is more to the game than what meets the eye (“autobots transform” LOL).
Pero, kidding aside, yes merong enjoyment kang mafi-feel syempre if you were able to beat the game and at the same time understand what the game was meant to bring. In a sense, Cabal will provide you enjoyment beyond any other games out there. (naks sounded biased, pero hindi).

Striking a good balance between work and play can be difficult, but HawkEyeMihawK still manages to find the time to play despite his busy work schedule. A level 173 warrior from Neptune, serving the Capellan nation under TheUntouchables, this GM slayer plays CABAL Online to relieve his stress from his everyday real-life grind.
How long have you been playing CABAL Online?
I have been playing Cabal Online for more than 2 years already. Before I played Ran Online, when e-Games introduced Cabal, I did not hesitate to try it. Even though I can’t go online now everyday due to work, I still make sure to log-in at least twice a week..
Why do you like to play CABAL Online?
What I like most is the graphics. It is also user-friendly, madali siyang matutunan. It’s also one of my stress relievers. ‘Pag sobrang haggard sa work, I log in to relax and interact with my friends online
Favorite Place to Level:
My top 3 favorite spot are RH, IC and Porta Inferno. For the first 2 dungeons, ok ang bigay ng XP at AP, may possibility pa na makakuha ng great items. If walang makasama sa dungeon, sa Porta ako nag papalevel..
Favorite NPC:
Arionell- the Cute type. Yuan is the Sexy-type and Rin is the Innocent but captivating-type.
Most loved CABAL character:
Warriors, of course. Ikaw ba naman makasalubong ng bato-bato at may malaking espadang dala, mangingilag ka. But seriously speaking, I love how a Warrior works. It can be a tanker and damager at the same time.
Most challenging quest:
Many would laugh at this, but I still could not get a mergaherp’s ring at EOD B1F
Most hated mob/dungeon boss:
Mergaherp. Ang damot eh T_T Also, Leth Tyrant. First time ko s’ya nakita, 1 hit pa nya ako.
Most hated PvP opponent:
On Free-style Force Bladers, maling diskarte, cut ang combo mo on H2H, FS and WA’s din. Lalo na ‘pag mas bongga ang crit nila compared sa ‘kin.
Favorite party members:
WI’s and FB’s. I do the damage, they do the support hehe.
Any Crushes:
Of course! Mama w4rqueen is one of them (crush lang naman e). I had a serious online relationship before but, eventually, it did not work out after more than a year.
Tips for newbie players:
One word will say it all…DISKARTE. Feel free to explore. It’s much sweeter to achieve something na nagawa mo mag-isa at wala kang pinagtanungan.
What is your greatest achievement in CABAL Online?
My greatest achievement would be when i bagged the ‘GM Slayer’ Title and my character was posted in the cabal fanpage in Facebook. I’m not sure if I’m the first GM slayer in Neptune, but nevertheless, it was a great achievement, right?

1st mob I hated most is Clay gargoyle! Why? ‘Coz they’re hard to lure & the 2nd dungeon boss is Chakris- if he got his Barrier again, his HP also goes back. WEEEW!

Force Shielder
Favorite party members:
Wizard , Warrior & Force shielder for me are the best party members because Wizards got SP buff , Warrior are TANKS & Shielders for SS.

Uhm… i got a crush from way back in 2008, but she quit now .

Level up , Enjoy & Avoid using illegal programs ( ISAPUSO NYO ANG LARO NYO )
