WHEN: (Online Tournament) March 23, 2024

HOW TO REGISTER:

  • To express your intent to participate, complete the registration form HERE.
  • Registration Period: March 4-10, 2023, 11:59 PM
  • No Duplicate Battle Classes:
  • Teams must ensure their lineups have no duplicate battle classes.
  • Upload the team logo and member photos:
  • Team logos and individual member photos must be uploaded to Google Drive. Photos should be clear, high-definition images taken against a white background, with team members wearing their official jerseys or black shirts.

MECHANICS:

  • First-Come-First-Served Registration Basis (CYGNUS SERVER ONLY)
  • No Registration Fee
  • Participants shall use pre-made characters provided by the CABAL PH Team, each with its own standard equipment.
  • Participating team should have 5 players of no same character class to form a team.
  • The class you’ve registered with will be the one you wield throughout the entire event. No Ban & Pick involved!
  • Only the first eight (8) teams to register will be accommodated.
  • Tournament map: Arcane Trace (middle).
  • Tournament style: 5v5 PK Battle, 5 min duration per round.
  • Upon the death of a character, participants are not allowed to return to the arena.
  • Each match will follow a knockout elimination system..
  • All team members should be at the tournament area once the GM calls their Team name. Teams will only be given 10 minutes as delay period to gather their members. Teams who will cause any delay in the overall tournament will be disqualified.
  • A round will be restarted if and only if a player gets disconnected BEFORE a FIRST kill is made by any of the team. If a player gets disconnected after a kill is made, the round will continue.
  • Each match will be conducted through a knockout elimination system
    • Semi-Finals = Best of 3
    • Finals = Best of 5
  • The use of any TPP during the tournament will deem the user’s team DISQUALIFIED.
  • No use of Saint’s Force Calibur Buff.

 

PLAYER’S RESPONSIBILITY AND GUIDELINES (Tournament Guidelines)

 

  • Teams must designate a Team Captain who will handle all decisions for the team.
  • Officials will consider decisions made by the team captain as final for the entire team.
  • Technical issues that occur past the 1 minute mark during an ongoing match will not be entertained. The team shall continue to play within the tournament mechanics.
  • Modifying the tournament account during the event without GM/Marshall permission is strictly prohibited. Let’s uphold fair play and ensure the integrity of the games.

 

SUBSTITUTION GUIDELINES 

 

  • A participating team is eligible for one (1) substitute players which will be declared on the pre-registration period.
  • Substitute players can only play when 1 main player is not available.
  • Substitute players must be not the same with other members class.
  • These substitutes are not entitled to play for other teams
  • There is no age limit BUT qualified substitutes must be 18 years old or above.

 

TIME LIMIT AND MANAGEMENT
  • Setup time is 5 minutes ONLY.
  • Match is 5 minutes long. If in case both teams have the same number of players still alive, a time extension of 3 minutes will be given.

 

TECHNICAL ISSUES AND DISCONNECTION

  • Any game disconnection/interruption that will happen past the 1 minute mark will no longer be entertained by the tournament marshal.
  • In the event of technical difficulties during the match, team captains are responsible for arriving at a decision. If no mutual decision is reached, the tournament marshal holds the final authority on the matter.
  • Any technical difficulties during the match, the captains shall arrive with a decision. If in any case, no mutual decision has been made, the tournament marshal has the FINAL SAY.

 

FOULS

 

  • Zoning Foul– This is defined as moving your character in an unauthorized area or refusing to follow move orders issued by the GM in-game.
    • 1st Offense: Warning
    • 2nd Offense: User will not be able to play 1 round
    • 3rd Offense: Team Disqualification
  • Skill Foul– This is defined as using skills in the tournament area before the countdown by the head marshal.
  • Striking Foul– This is defined as striking any of the GMs in game.
    • 1st Offense: Warning
    • 2nd Offense: User will not be able to play 1 round
    • 3rd Offense: Team Disqualification
  • Technical Foul– This is defined as engaging in any behavior that is unsportsmanlike and includes excessive profanity or violence against property or individuals including the marshals.
    • Auto Team Disqualification

 

DISQUALIFICATION RULES

  • The use of Frontier Stone during a match is prohibited.
  • The use of Battle Modes 1, 2, and 3 is not allowed during the tournament, Aura ONLY.
    • Remove the battle mode icon from your skill quick slot to avoid pressing the skill during matches.
  • The use of other items that are not in the tournament account is also prohibited.
  • If two (2) or more members fail to arrive at the venue for their scheduled match, the present complete team will be declared as the automatic winner.
  • Intentional disconnection (ALT F4/Manual DC) will lead to the forfeiture of the match.
  • Players are expected to behave in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner at all times.
  • Teams/members of the team exhibiting unruly conduct will be disqualified, handing the opposing team the match.
  • Premium Item Rewards will either be Character or Account bound.
  • PlayPark reserves the right to withhold and not distribute any prizes to teams that have been disqualified.
  • The decision of the Referees, Game Masters, and tournament officials is FINAL.
  • The rules and prizes of the PlayPark Tournament are subject to change without prior notice.
