Dear CABAL Online Players,
We would like to inform you that we have made some positive developments on the CABAL Online hacking issue. We have identified the parties behind the massive hacking and they are connected to a third party RMT site/ company, which could have gained access to gamer accounts due to the usage of/ exposure to unauthorized and illegal third-party programs and software (TPPs) being promoted in the said RMT website. We are pursuing legal action against the parties responsible.
We would also like to tell you that we are currently preparing a compensation plan for those hacked (cases validated by the CABAL Game Management Team) and we will release said plan once it is ready. Please stand by for further official announcements by the CABAL Game Management Team.
We are also preparing to implement additional and more stringent security measures to help protect gamers from account security issues. Additional details will be released soon.
While we are constantly working on improving account security issues, we would like to remind all of you that using any third-party programs will put your account at risk. Accounts of gamers who utilized and/ or were exposed to unauthorized TPPs have been identified to be compromised. We strongly recommend that these gamers secure their accounts and change their passwords immediately after ensuring the complete removal of TPPs from their computers and to completely avoid using TPPs.
